La Grande Solitude
I have always been drawn to the quiet fractions of the day, when for a short instant the eye escapes the visual overflow and locks in on a scene that somehow seems to overstep the boundaries of time. Scenes that stand out and tell us to stop and watch for a moment.
In La Grande Solitude I collect what makes me stop. As the name of the series suggests, there is a profound feeling of light seclusion to witnessing moments like this, more like privacy. Solitude however isn't isolation, nor loneliness, but contemplation.
